Silver Eye industry award

We are very happy to inform that "Cut-Paste" by Rafał Samusik won the Silver Eye industry award at the 9th East Silver Market at Jihlava in the short documentary category. The jury statement: “While delivering the message of organ donation’s importance, the film avoids obvious narrative solutions of suspense and donor’s point of view – a film in the best documentary tradition.“

Two Riversides Festival

We are delighted to announce that the film CUT PASTE by Rafał Samusik was selected to the Independent Short Film Competition at this year's edition of Film and Art Festival TWO RIVERSIDES in Kazimierz Dolny and Janowiec. The film will be screened during the festival on 28 July – 5 August this year.

The young director undertook a very difficult subject. Transplantation is a complicated matter, associated with physical pain and moral choices, it is a daily medical practice, that still raises the questions. Watching Rafał Samusik’s documentary we become witnesses of fierce struggle between life and death, the duel between weakness and strength. We see how the common persistent effort of different people creates an extraordinary power - the meaning of our life in its every aspect.
