She lived in Holland for many years where she worked in the audiovisual industry and marketing.

In the years 1997-2002 Dorota Roszkowska worked as the Commissioning Editor in the cultural department of TVP2 at Polish Television where she dealt with co-productions for the European Cultural Channel ARTE. Under her editorship many documentary films, international debate panels and TV broadcasts were made and broadcasted in Poland and Europe. Among others: “Theatre of Death” - a thematic evening about Tadeusz Kantor, 1998; “Between Poland and Russia. The Myth of the Borderlands” - thematic evening,1999; “Kraków - the Capital of Europe” - thematic evening, 2000; “Russian Mysteries” – doc series, 2001; “Marilyn, Despite Herself” - documentary made on the 40th MM’s death anniversary, 2002; “Children of revolution” dir. Maria Zmarz-Koczanowicz, 2003.

She works also as the film expert for the European Commission and international tutor.


Since 2003 Dorota Roszkowska runs independent company Arkana Studio.

She is the producer of a.o. the following films:

Dorota Roszkowska leads the international workshops of documentary film Dragon Forum ending with the pitching at the Krakow Film Festival. She is director of the Multimedia Festival at the Royal Route in Warsaw The Art of the Document.
